Swimming Lessons
All classes are held throughout the year, starting at the beginning of each month. Classes consist of three to four sessions, depending on holidays. Sessions are 30-45 minutes, depending on level. There will be no make-up classes at this time.
Minimum of three students to run a class.
Our Swim Levels
All lessons are taught by Certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors
Small Frye (Parent Child) (Ages 18 months & up)
The purpose of this class is to teach a parent or grandparent how to get your child comfortable in the water and begin basic swimming skills. The session is open to all ages of children, but they must be potty trained to participate. Our instructor will assist you in working with your child and group activities/games will be incorporated whenever possible. This class is only offered when there are enough students to make a class (3).
Sea Horses (Young Beginner) (Ages 3 -5 years)
Instruction will be given to aid the child in becoming comfortable in the water (including underwater). Skills taught include stationary rhythmic breathing, back & front float, flutter kick, changing direction and basic front crawl arm stroke. Basic personal safety rules are introduced. Imagination and creative thinking along with games are encouraged. Flotation belts and noodles are used.
Clown Fish (Level I) Water Exploration
This class is designed for age 4 and older. The child must be comfortable in the water including face and head underwater. Skills include supported prone and back floating with glide, beginners front crawl stroke, start of underwater skills, and elementary backstroke. Group safety skills introduced. Noodles used. Goggles required. Child must be comfortable with the water.
Sea Turtles (Level II) Primary Skills
Designed for the student ready to start building a solid foundation for independent swimming. Child must be able to swim without floatation for a distance of at least 25 feet. Fundamental skills include independent float (front & back), introduction of breaststroke, back crawl, front crawl with rotary breathing and introduction to basic diving. More underwater skills with deepwater introduction. Group games for older kids are introduced. Goggles required. Children remain in this level often for many months.
Trigger Fish (Level III) Stroke Readiness
Provides additional guided practice to help students coordinate front and back crawl. Students will advance their skills with all 5 strokes. Introduction to treading water, surface dives and self-rescue techniques are introduced. Endurance is emphasized in this class and the child must be comfortable with deep water. Child should be able to swim 60 ft. without floatation. Goggles required.
Eagle Rays (Level IV) Stroke Development
Emphasis will be placed on technique development. Students are also introduced to sidestroke and dolphin kick. Ocean and Lake swimming & safety emphasized. Survival skills are introduced/ swimming in current. Individual critique of skills will be used for proficiency. Goggles required.
Dolphins(Level V) Stroke Refinement
The objective of this class is increased refinement of all strokes. Introduction to Butterfly, flip turns, introduction to competitive swimming, and training. Goggles required.
Orcas (Level IV) Stroke Advancement
This class pulls together strength, timing and endurance. Creative challenges, fitness, and precision strokes are emphasized through teaching and video analysis. Goggles required.
Swim evaluations are required for first time students! If you have a young beginner looking to come to our facility for lessons, we offer a 20min evaluation for $25. This helps adjust the new swimmer to the facility, the instructors and to the lesson structure.

Price: Classes are $70 per 1 month session. (4 classes at 1 per week) An additional day per week may be added for an additional $45.
